What happens during the session
A body scrub at home takes about 60 minutes. The therapist sets up a protected treatment bed in your room, applies the scrub to one section of the body at a time, and works it in with slow, circular movements to lift dry, dull skin. Each section is then wiped clean with warm towels, so you do not need to step into the shower mid-treatment.
The aim is smoother skin that holds moisturiser better. Most people notice the difference on rough areas such as elbows, knees, heels and the backs of the arms. Because the scrub is done at home, there is no travelling afterwards with oil on your skin, and you can shower and rest straight away.
