A facial at home suits anyone who wants a proper cleanse and hydration without travelling to a salon, from people with dull, tired skin to those preparing for an event. Sessions run from 30 to 70 minutes depending on the treatment you choose, and prices start from AED 113.
All prices include 5% VAT and the AED 9 service fee, so the price you see is the price you pay.
The steps
- Skin check. The beautician asks about your skin type, sensitivities and recent treatments.
- Cleanse. Make-up and surface oil are removed.
- Exfoliate. A gentle scrub or peel clears dead skin.
- Massage. Face, neck and shoulders are massaged to boost circulation.
- Mask. Chosen for your skin: hydrating, calming or clarifying.
- Finish. Serum, moisturiser and sun protection.
What the therapist brings
Your therapist arrives with the treatment bed, a clean towel setup, cleansers, exfoliants, masks and moisturisers. You only need to provide a quiet room with a power point nearby and clean, bare skin if possible.
Before
Arrive with a clean face if you can, tie hair back and tell us about allergies or products that irritate you. Avoid waxing or strong peels in the days before.
After
- Skip heavy make-up for the rest of the day.
- Use sun protection; Dubai sun is harsh on freshly exfoliated skin.
- Drink water and keep your routine simple for 24 hours.
How often?
Once a month suits most skin. Before an event, book about a week ahead so any redness settles.
