Picking a shape
- Round or oval: soft, natural and easy to maintain.
- Square: clean and modern; suits longer nail beds.
- Almond: elongating and elegant.
- Short squoval: practical if you type a lot.
Choosing sensibly
If you type a lot, wash dishes often or want something low-maintenance, gel is usually the best balance. If you want length for a special event, acrylic gives it. For a quick refresh or if you like changing colours, regular polish is fine.
Whichever you pick, never peel gel or acrylic off. Ask the therapist to remove it so your natural nails are not damaged. All prices include 5% VAT and the AED 9 service fee, so the price you see is the price you pay.
Keeping nails healthy
Moisturise cuticles daily, wear gloves for cleaning, and ask for proper removal rather than peeling gel or acrylic off. Give natural nails a rest between long sets.
